Venturers' Academy is proud to have been awarded the Mental Health and Wellbeing badge from Bristol Healthy Schools.

 

Bristol Healthy Schools designed the Mental Health and Wellbeing Badge to adopt a whole school approach to improving mental health and wellbeing. It’s based on best practice guidance from Public Health England and the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).

 

How Bristol Healthy Schools supports the Academy

As part of this badge Venturers' Academy is supported by a Bristol Healthy Schools lead.

The badge demonstrates the following Mental Health & Wellbeing aims:

• improve the mental health and wellbeing of all pupils and staff
• make sure there are appropriate strategies in place to support pupils most at risk
