Modern Foreign Languages staff at the academy are celebrating on the first week back after the summer holidays, as the academy has been recognised as providing an 'Enhancing Level' of Spanish to its students.

Head of Modern Foreign Languages, Amy Morriss, along with other academy staff are especially excited to find out that they are the first special school in the country to achieve this well-earned 'Enhancing' Award!

Students across all ages in the academy  enjoy their regular Spanish sessions, learning about the Spanish culture and gaining confidence in their public speaking in the language.

Venturers' Academy children are clearly enjoying their Spanish lessons, and I am in awe of how much work you put into organising lessons, tracking progress and arranging special experiences such as the flamenco dancing.
