We have been exploring a new curriculum at Venturers' Academy and the students have been learning about bubbles, how to stay healthy, anti-bullying & safety awareness, making Viking Longboats, and exploring really old toys.

 

         

 

The older students have been studying the Aztecs, life on the Home Front and sharing the sad but very beautiful text, Goodnight Mister Tom.

 

  

 

In January we will be having a specific focus on learning through the subjects of History and Geography. We are hoping to arrange a trip for the students to London to visit the Natural History Museum. We want the curriculum to come alive for our students and to let them have firsthand experience in their learning. Would anyone like to send one of our classes to Egypt for a week to study the Land of the Pharaoh’s?!! Maybe we will have to rely on clips from YouTube!
